Me
(Rita) keeps an eye on a certain race... the Thai-Ridgeback.
But...where can i find out something about the Thai-Ridgeback?
Finally, this race doesn´t live around the corner.
Fortunately the internet exists and so i found the Thai-Forum (Message
Board). There i found all what i need to know about this race. I was awake
on the fact that a Thai-Ridgeback is not the easiest race but i took the
decision: Our new dog should be a Thai! From the Thai-Forum we heard about
actual Thai-Whelps in
Germany
and
other countries.
So far so good... but i had an other problem, too. My Thai should be
silver. At this time it was impossible to find a silver Thai-Ridgeback in
Germany
or
the
Netherlands
.
What
now? Hold on till the next year? On
the
27th December 2005
silver
whelps were born in
France
.
Aggravating circumstances at our home did not allow us to drive to
France
to
take a look on the Whelps. My husband wasn´t so angry about this, but me
was very commiserate about this.
I couldn´t forget these small whelps from
France
. On
the website from the breeder i observed the growing up from the whelps.
One whelp went to
Austria
.
Sabrina Hiller, the founder of the Thai-Forum accompanied the potential
buyers to
France
. For
one of the small whelps the breeder couldn´t find a new home, so Sabrina
decided to take the whelp to
Switzerland
. She
wanted to find a new home for this little dog in
Switzerland
. My
interest was really big but the whelp should be given away close to
Sabrina. But then Sabrina falls in love to him and so she decided to keep
the whelp for herself. Unforeseen circumstanced makes her to find a new
home for her new dog. We were
pefectly happy that she choosed us to be the new family for the dog.
In
May 2006 we picked up our newest family member from the
Switzerland
and
we are sure, that our Ao-Jai feels good in his new family.
